In this (wide) world there are EQs and EQs, from the lousiest ones to the professional ones that cost big bucks. Now, I am really speaking about all of them - hardware or software, no matter at all - they all do the same thing, add color to your audio, sometimes, allowing you to hear your music in better conditions or creatively "destroy" recorded audio. From simple, day by day sound shaping to genius creation, all music and generally speaking - audio - has something to do with equalizers.

NuGen has long-time been granted
a special place in the circle of sound tech software producers... and it has been granted a high place as they've always been making very good binary. It's time now to greet an innovation wearing the NuGen badge: the SEQ series linear phase equalizers.

Saying that these could easily become the new-generation (funny, isn't it?) EQs for mixing and mastering couldn't be closer to truth. With awesome specs like true 64-bit signal path, dual core-optimization, analog-shaped curves spectral analysis, they're on the right way for success.

The two new codes from NuGen, SEQ1 and SEQ2 comprise extensive support for all sample rates and will let you adjust frequencies from 10 Hz to 30,000Hz, pass them through HPF/LPF and hi/lo shelving filters.

True professional code in the VST format, meant for pro use, the SEQ1 will allow you to work on 7 user-defined frequency bands and will do this via an extremely intuitive interface. Its counterpart, the SEQ2 (also VST) is a spline multiband EQ perfect for mastering purposes displaying direct-draw representations of what's actually going on. Add the scaleable quality and things become really-really interesting.

Finally, the most important feature in the SEQ series engine is that using these two equalizers will not result in phase smearing, so the result is very transparent and clear: one of the most accurate-response EQs so far, not harming the transient frequencies at all and thus producing a much definite sound. All for $119 or $219 - in the Master edition, with slightly more capabilities.
