“Do No Harm” showed some promise but, after just 2 episodes aired on NBC, it became clear for network executives that it was not a ratings winner. The series has been canceled.

Deadline has confirmation of it. After just 2 episodes, “Do No Harm” is dead in the water, and will be yanked off the air “effective immediately.”

It will be replaced by “Law & Order: SVU” for at least a couple of weeks, with an announcement pending on a permanent replacement.

“Do No Harm posted the lowest ratings ever for an in-season scripted series premiere on a Big 4 network last week with an underwhelming 0.9 18-49 rating. It dropped 22% to a 0.7 last night, effectively sealing its fate,” Deadline reports.

Above is a trailer for the disastrously received series: it was about a neurosurgeon with split personality, pretty much like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
