14 DAY TRIAL // Capcom and Ninja Theory, the publisher and developer of the upcoming DmC Devil May Cry reboot, have presented a fresh video that finally shows off some gameplay from the future hack and slash title, not to mention a few hints at its actual story.
DmC Devil May Cry caused a lot of controversy back when it was announced, as the team at Ninja Theory completely reimagined the protagonist of the series, Dante, much to the chagrin of longtime fans of the franchise. Since then, we’ve seen plenty of cinematic trailers and quite a lot of screenshots that show the heart of the Devil May Cry franchise is still there.
Now, a new gameplay video serves to show that its classic hack and slash mechanics are here and that they’re better than ever, with Dante using all sorts of weapons, from huge swords to scythes, in combination with his trusty Ebony & Ivory dual-wield pistols, to dispatch of his enemies.
Check out the great video above and get ready for the release of DmC Devil May Cry sometime next year, and, before that, for the Devil May Cry Anniversary collection in early 2012.
