A demo for DmC Devil May Cry might come out in late November, at least according to a retailer that claims inside information from Capcom itself.

DmC promises to reboot the entire Devil May Cry series with a bold new visual style and reimagined origins for its characters, while keeping the same stylized hack and slash experience.

After confirming that it’s going to release a demo for the game ahead of its launch in January, Capcom has apparently informed retailer Zavvi that it will debut it in November.

More specifically, Xbox 360 owners from around the world and PS3 users in North America will get it on November 20. PS3 owners in Europe, however, will have to wait until November 21 to get the demo.

The retailer does note that these dates aren’t set in stone, but it’s quite probable that the DmC demo will be out before the winter holidays.

The actual game will be released worldwide on January 15, 2013, for PS3 and Xbox 360. A PC edition is in the works, but it will appear later next year.
