The development team at Larian Studios is delivering a rather impressive 27-minute-long video for their upcoming Divinity: Dragon Commander, which showcases most of the game mechanics and reveals the role that jetpack-powered dragons will have in the game.

The team walks players though one full turn of the campaign and the battles that are associated with it, and there’s plenty of detail on offer on exactly how interacting with other characters can influence the core story.

Dragon Commander mixes a turn-based strategic map where the player can plot his moves and acquire more support with real-time battles.

This is where players will be able to take control of the dragons and wreak havoc on enemy forces from the air, while also taking charge of other units to subdue their enemies.
