Larian Studios has announced that after hitting real brick and mortar store shelves ten years ago, their role-playing game Divine Divinity has been launched on the Steam digital distribution service from Valve, allowing long-term fans to pick it up once again and relive the adventure it offers.

Divine Divinity allows players to take on the role of the Chosen One, a hero from prophecy, who needs to battle evil forces which seek to bring about the birth of the Lord of Chaos and needs to unite the races of the Rivellon in order to succeed in his quest.

At the moment, Larian Studios is keen on keeping the world that the game depicted relevant and is working on Divinity: Original Sin, a prequel that also takes place in Rivellon and is heavily focused on cooperative mechanics, and Divinity – Dragon Commander, a strategy game that also give gamers the chance to control a dragon in aerial battles.
