Dita Von Teese makes debut on “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” is told to cover up for it

Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese has just made her debut on the hit series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” but was told to cover up her usually generous cleavage to prevent any complaints from viewers.

The dancer, who’s already doing a lot of work endorsing various products, was asked to guest star on an episode of the series that will air in the US next week, on January 20, to be more precise, Digital Spy reports.

In the episode, she plays an apparently very shy teacher whose biggest secret is that she likes to moonlight as a burlesque dancer.

As expected, she gets caught up in the investigation but, even if she’s a burlesque dancer, fans will not be seeing too much of her famous cleavage, she has revealed just recently.

“There was a lot of network talk about my ‘offensive cleavage,’ which I found interesting considering how much blood and gore there is. We had to take it down a notch,” Dita says for the latest issue of TV Guide, as per Digital Spy.

The burlesque dancer also says she was personally pleased with how she did in the episode, which will be called “A Kiss Before Frying,” but she’s eager to see how it turns out in the final version.

“I think it is important to try new things and I hope my efforts come off well. This was a much bigger role than I originally thought,” Dita says.

Speaking of cleavage, in an interview from October 2009, the star admitted she had to have hers fixed with implants because of the damage done by drugs.

In the early ‘90s, Dita was into LSD and ecstasy and, eventually her weight plummeted because of it. When she went clean, she gained back the pounds but her breasts never recovered their original shape.

Dita got implants and went up to 32D – she’s also been staying clean ever since.
