14 DAY TRIAL // Contrary to reports earlier this week, hearing that her ex-husband Ashton Kutcher isn’t just engaged but also expecting a child with his new girlfriend Mila Kunis, did not bring closure to Demi Moore but a real sense of helplessness and renewed anger.
Demi loved Ashton with all her heart and she fought desperately to save the marriage, even after being provided with irrefutable proof that he wasn’t being faithful to her. She wanted to stay in the marriage even after she found out that he had cheated on her on their 6th wedding anniversary and the entire sordid story got out in the press.
But Ashton didn’t, so he filed the divorce papers, delivering a mighty blow to her. Since then, the actress has been having a very hard time coping with the divorce and, more importantly, with the fact that Ashton moved on from the marriage so quickly.
When she heard that he was having a child with Mila, Demi died a bit on the inside, unnamed sources say for ShowbizSpy. Still, she’s hell-bent not to let anyone see just how broken up she is and has come up with a strategy to not let it happen.
“Demi is struggling to deal with the news. She wants to flee the country as she knows the paparazzi are waiting to get a picture of her looking sad. Instead, she’s planning to go abroad, get herself together and make sure she’s photographed looking amazing on the beach in a bikini,” says a source.
We could think of at least a million better ways to get “breakup revenge,” but that would be besides the point. If Demi feels happiest when she shows off her enviable figure for the paparazzi, then so be it.
Another insider tells the same publication that what stings her the most is that, during her marriage with Ashton, he didn’t want children even though she repeatedly told him that she’d like to have one.
“During their marriage, Ashton and Demi were never on the same page about starting a family. She wanted to have children with him, but he was never ready. It’s a real kick in the teeth that he’s now starting a family with Mila,” the tipster claims.
To add insult to injury, Ashton didn’t inform her of this new and happy development in his life, presumably because they’re not in contact anymore since the nasty divorce, and she found out just like the rest of the world did: in the media.
Had he done her the courtesy of calling her, she would have left town immediately to go on vacation because she knows only too well how much magazines would pay for her photo right now.
