Police have apprehended a suspect in connection with the explosion at Mickey's Toontown in Anaheim on Tuesday.

As I mentioned yesterday, a small explosive device created by putting dry ice in a bottle and placing it in a container prompted an evacuation at Disneyland.

According to ABC News, 22-year-old Christian Barnes of Long Beach has been jailed on $1 million (€771,000) bail.

No visitors or members of the amusement park staff were injured as the explosion was contained.

"We take matters like this very seriously and are working closely with local authorities," Suzi Brown explains, speaking for Disneyland Resort.

Anaheim Police Sgt. Bob Dunn adds that Barnes had no accomplices. Anaheim has been riddled with similar explosive devices in recent months, local police reports say.
