The Disney Infinity mix of toys and video game experiences has been very successful for Disney and it seems that the company is getting ready to launch two new versions of the game, centered around the Star Wars science fiction universe and the Marvel comic book cannon.

AllGamesBeta says that the two new titles are in development, but there's no information on when they might be officially announced or actually launched.

Disney spent more than 100 million dollars (76 million Euro) in order to develop the core mechanics of Disney Infinity and it makes sense to use the core infrastructure in order to deliver more content to players.

Fans believed that Marvel and Star Wars content for the game would be delivered via downloadable content packs.

The launch of two new Disney Infinity titles might saturate the market and lead to a decrease in the overall demand for the genre, which also includes Activision's Skylanders.
