The development team working on Disney Infinity announces that classic characters Aladdin and Jasmine will be added to the video game as both toys and virtual presences and can be used in the coming 2.0 version of the title.

The official description states, “Bring on the Dreamer. Bring on the Daring. Bring on a whole new world! Aladdin and Jasmine are coming to the Disney Infinity Toy Box 2.0! What new worlds will you create?”

Each of the new characters will be sold separately, and the images associated with their reveal show the interesting ways they will be able to interact with the other characters that are already part of the game.

Disney Infinity is constantly adding new adventures and new protagonists for the player to use, but the big event for the fall will be the introduction of the massive Marvel universe to the game.

Players will be able to play as members of The Avengers and as the heroes from Guardians of the Galaxy, and there’s also a pack that focuses on the villains of these stories, with Loki and Ronan the Accuser also added.

Rumors are also saying that Disney Infinity will get access to a range of toys based on Star Wars in 2015, as the new movies in the series are moving closer to their launch date.
