The development team at Harmonix and publisher Disney are revealing that their upcoming Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved project will include music from five artists that appeal to a variety of player tastes and come from a wide array of genres.

The list, quoted by Gamespot, includes:

Antonin Dvorak – Symphony No. 9 from the New World David Bowie – Ziggy Stardust Lorde – Royals Nicki Minaj – Super Bass White Stripes – Seven Nation Army

Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will include more than 30 songs from at least 25 artists and each of the tracks will also come complete with remixes, which gamers will be able to find at various points in the experience.

Those who get the new title on the Xbox One or on the Xbox 360, as long as they have the Kinect peripheral, will be able to actively explore a world made based on classic cartoons, while creating new music via hand gestures.

Launch is set to take place at some point in 2014.

Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will also include a multiplayer mode that allows two gamers to cooperate or compete while creating new versions of the included musical tracks.

Harmonix has said that the full list of songs included in the game will be revealed closer to launch date.
