Video game publisher Disney has not renewed the trademark for Star Wars 1313, another sign that the game that was in development at LucasArts is currently abandoned, although it could be revived at some point in the future.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office says that the filling for the Star Wars project is, at the moment, “Abandoned because no Statement of Use or Extension Request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued.”

After LucasArts was acquired by Disney, the entire team that worked on the 1313 was laid off but fans were still hoping that the game might return to active development at some point.

All future Star Wars titles are being handled by Electronic Arts in an exclusive deal that will last for the duration of the next movie trilogy.

A new Battlefront experience is in development at DICE and BioWare is also working on a new game, although no details have been offered on it so far.
