The player hits Asia this month

Disney fans out there, raise your hat for the latest gizmo, a Mickey look-alike Mp3 player. There is no need to say that the Mickey mp3 player carries Disney branding as well as many other High-Tech items such as USB devices, CD players and many more.

Its shape looks pretty odd, the manufacturers gave their best in making it a bit ugly and unsuitable to fit into your pocket pants comfortably. As for the features, they were ingeniously integrated in the tech toy, so one ear is used as a volume control, while the other is used to change the tracks.

According to Ubergizmo, we should expect to see the weird audio device in Asia this month, even though there has been no word on a worldwide release.

I seriously doubt that this bulky design is going to be catchy for the rest of the world. If you're somehow interested in purchasing Mickey the player, you should know that some MP3 players which resemble this one feature a reasonable tag price around 15 bucks on eBay.

I didn't say it wouldn't be a great gift to offer a Disney fan, it is just that the shape makes him less portable. The technical specifications include a pretty good 1GB memory capacity storage. Didn't expect that, did you?

Unfortunately, it sports no LCD display but it can easily deal with most of the available file formats on the market.

Regarding the capabilities, the player assures up to 10 hours of continuous playback session, FM radio and FM recording, for the owners who want to record their favorite radio show for later listening.

It is practically impossible to get bored of it, if you forget about the weird marine blue looks.

You probably ask yourselves who on Earth would like a Mickey-shaped Mp3 player. I didn't say Japan. Did you?
