Dishonored Theme Is Free to Download and Remix

The development team at Arkane Studios and the marketing department at publisher Bethesda have announced that gamers are now able to download the Drunken Whaler theme song for Dishonored for free and can also take part in a contest that focuses on remixes.

The song, which impressed those who have seen the E3 trailer for Dishonored, can be downloaded here (free for personal and non-commercial use) and those who are interested in remixing it can also get the stems.

The development team has also talked about how they worked with Copilot Strategic Music + Sound in order to create a new take on the traditional rhyme The Drunken Sailor.

The details for the remix contest are available at the official Bethesda page and all entries must be sent in before September 28.

Dishonored will be launched on the PC, the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on October 9 in the United States and three days later in Europe.
