Bethesda and Arkane Studios have confirmed that their upcoming Dishonored title has gone gold and that it’s ready to be released next week across a variety of platforms.

Dishonored was revealed to the world last year but work on it began a long time ago and now, after more than three years in development according to Arkane, the game is finally ready to be released.

Over 30 versions of the game will be released throughout next week, according to the studio, as this huge number includes the various languages, countries, and platforms.

All of them will deliver an intense stealth-based experience that puts players in the shoes of Corvo, an assassin with top notch fighting skills and different supernatural abilities. These skills will help him on his quest for revenge, after he was framed for a murder he didn’t commit.

Dishonored is out on October 9 in North America and France, on October 11 in Australia and Spain, and on October 12 in Europe and the rest of the world, for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
