14 DAY TRIAL // After teasing the announcement earlier today, Bethesda and Arkane Studios have revealed Dishonored's last add-on, in the form of the Brigmore Witches expansion, which concludes the side story of Daud and allows players to import their save files and choices from the Knife of Dunwall DLC.
Dishonored appeared at the end of last year and, since then, developer Arkane Studios released basic DLC with new content, like the Dunwall City Trials, but also story-based expansions, like the Knife of Dunwall.
Now, the final add-on has just been revealed, in the form of the Brigmore Witches. The DLC sees players once again control Daud, the assassin who started the main story by killing the Empress.
Check out the description of the expansion below, via an official statement.
"In The Brigmore Witches, continue your journey as the legendary assassin, Daud, and bring his twisted narrative that began with The Knife of Dunwall to a close. After discovering the identity and intentions of Delilah, the leader of the Brigmore Witch coven, you set out to disrupt her from completing a powerful ritual that will spell your doom."
"Having already been betrayed by your lieutenant, Billie Lurk, you must rely on feuding gang factions—the Dead Eels and the Hatters—to negotiate your way through previously unseen districts of Dunwall en route to Delilah’s stronghold. Regardless of the way you reach your destination, one thing is for certain – you will finally answer for your treacherous actions and fall before the mercy, or punishment, of the Royal Bodyguard and Assassin, Corvo Attano."
As a special bonus, players can import the save game files from the Knife of Dunwall DLC into Brigmore Witches, meaning their power, weapon, and item upgrades will be carried over, not to mention the choices and Chaos level.
Dishonored will get the Brigmore Witches DLC on August 13 for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 for 10 USD/EUR or 800 MS Points.
