Google is building Google+ into everything it owns, for better or for worse. With Blogger, it is already pretty far along. It has added the option of merging a Blogger profile with a Google+ one and introduced support for things like the +1 button.
Now it's making a change that should come in handy for those that keep an eye on user engagement and feedback, i.e. how many people click on the +1 buttons next to your posts.
"We’re happy to introduce the +1 counter, which allows you to quickly scan your dashboard to see which posts are most popular on your blog. Each time a reader clicks the +1 button on a post, a +1 gets added to that post's counter and their profile photo and name will appear," Blogger
explained.
+1 buttons are added to Dynamic View templates by default, but can be added along with other share and like buttons to most other templates.
