Here’s something to bring a tear to the eye and make your day: Eve and Dillon, two disabled dogs saved and housed at an animal shelter until just recently, have found a new home. Their new owner Shelley Scudder knew she could not tear them apart.

Check out the video report above.

Eve and Dillon look perfectly healthy but they’re not: Eve is deaf and blind in one eye, and Dillon is also deaf.

They became the best of buds while at the Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue. They will now get the chance to grow old together, in a proper home with a loving owner.

Shelley saw a post on social media advertising that the two dogs were up for adoption, and initially set her mind to taking just one. She’s now happy she got both.
