Square-Enix has puzzled its fans yet again by releasing two splendid games the past year:
Final Fantasy XII and the first sequel to Final Fantasy VII,
Dirge of Cerberus. It's the first time we're dealing with a Final Fantasy game that doesn't pertain to the RPG genre, so we'll have a pretty rough time adjusting to it. A couple of cheats and unlockables can come in handy. Missing items is a common aspect in the Final Fantasy games and this is also the case. Here's a list of the
items you can unlock or find in hidden locations:
Bayonet Rifle - Chapter 10: Later in the level, you'll come to a puzzle which involves cardkeys, it is next to a gatling gun behind a gate.
Blow Machine Gun - Chapter 10: You'll come to a split path, one road goes under a bridge, the case in the open is the place to find it.
Faerie L Barrel - Chapter 10: After you reach Blow Machine Gun you'll soon come to a place with a crate on a ledge, shoot the barrel under it.
G Report 3 - Chapter 11: Located in a room with several Mako Points in it, use the rising platform to jump onto a pipe running along the wall, it's in the
corner.
G-Report 1 - Chapter 8: When a WRO is hacking a door, protect them until they are finished. Go under the door, and continue to find it on top of a ladder.
G-Report 2 - Chapter 10: Found on the roof of a house, shortly after the midpoint of the stage
Golden Moogle Doll - Chapter 10: Complete the kill 100 enemies mission, the last enemy will drop it.
Guard M Barrel - Chapter 6: Protect all 12 WRO members during the mission, and it'll appear in a crate near the end of the level.
Lucky S Barrel - Chapter 10: In the area of the cardkey puzzle, at the end of the long string of gates in the tunnel is the Lucky S Barrel.
Manaheart - Chapter 6 Ex Hard: Early in this stage a red duel horn beast will charge through the stage, kill it before it leaves the stage and it'll drop it.
S Adjuster - Chapter 9: The first string of guards, blow up the barrel on the very right and one of the guards will drop it.
Toy Gun - Chapter 3: After saving the kid, enter the door nearby and it's against the inside wall.

Tips- Get a free heal by reaching an auto save point, quitting the game and reloading it. Do that and you'll come back with the HP bar full.
- No KO's - if you die, use the quit option and reload the game. You get reset to the same place, but the KO doesn't count.
- Use the Blast Machine Gun often as it keeps the enemies knocked down
- What to use in boss fights? The weapon that holds the most ammo is the "M Cerberus" and it's the best solution for bosses. Use their moments of weakness to shoot them and reload. Also you can use the S Hydra Line, because it fires rapidly and it's a great weapon against the tougher enemies.
- If you reach a Mako field with the mana bar full you should fire a few rounds before running over it. It will count as casted Magic and you won't lose mana.
- Use the Gigant Hydra to knock enemies down, but don't forget to buy the auto loader attachment. Very useful weapon when dealing with rocket launching enemies.
