14 DAY TRIAL // Dina Lohan has already made the transition from mom to manager to businesswoman, so it shouldn't be too difficult for her to start fresh again, this time in television. Reports say she's on board no less than 2 separate projects for VH1, which will launch her as a reality star.
Having long been controversial in her own right, mostly because many assumed that whatever problems plagued her most famous daughter Lindsay were partly her fault because she (Dina) enabled such destructive behavior, she is bound to boost interest in whatever show she appears on.
TMZ reports that one such upcoming reality series will only feature Dina as a guest star and not a regular, but that's mostly down to a simple technicality.
“Dina Lohan will share a state with the ex-wives of Prince, Will Smith, R. Kelly and Eddie Murphy on a new reality show, […] called 'Hollywood Exes',” the celebrity e-zine reports.
Obviously, Dina can't star as a regular because she wasn't married to a star, she happens to be famous because of her daughter.
“We found out Dina is shooting several episodes, but is not a full-blown member of the cast. Sources connected with the show tell us producers brought Dina in because she's friends with members of the cast and she can 'spice things up',” TMZ further notes.
It also mentions that Lindsay will not appear on the show, so whatever spicing up Dina does, she will have to do all on her own.
A separate report, this time on zap2it, claims that “Hollywood Exes” isn't the only reality show that Dina has lined up with VH1: she's also doing a musical of sorts, called “DramaMamas.”
“As for 'DramaMamas,' Dina is set to star in the reality show, which will follow Dina as she launches her first Broadway-bound musical (?????????????) and will showcase 'the incredible talents of young performers and their DramaMamas, hovering not far behind',” writes the e-zine.
This second show is currently being shopped, whereas we're under the impression “Hollywood Exes” is already a done deal.
