Dina Lohan has often been called (many of those times to her face) the worst parent in Hollywood for the poor advice and parental guidance she offered to her most troubled and most famous child, Lindsay. Hopefully, she will tackle this topic in her upcoming book.

That’s right, Dina has penned her memoirs and, while a release date is yet unknown, you can probably bet money already on that it will cause some serious waves. Hate her or not, people pay attention to Dina and, chances are, they will also be buying her book if only out of sheer curiosity.

Speaking with Radar Online, Dina denies previous reports that Lindsay was working on her own tell-all book, one that would allow her to finally have her side of the story out there in full.

At the same time, she points out that that fans can get the next best thing because, surprise surprise!, she did write a book.

“To clean up a rumor, Lindsay is not writing a book at this time. My book is finished!” she says for the celebrity e-zine.

“She is supportive of my book as well as my other three children,” Dina continues, speaking of whether Lindsay is ok with the idea of her mother writing a tell-all.

We assume Lindsay has no reason to worry about Dina’s book because, if you think about it, she was her biggest supporter through her most difficult times, speaking up for her in the press (and lying) even at those times when everything pointed her out as the sole responsible for the trouble she’d gotten herself in.

Even if Dina’s book will tackle some of the problems Lindsay has been dealing with throughout the years (drug and alcohol addiction, several rehab stints, countless arrests and even more court dates, her short time behind bars, her disastrous relationships, her fading career), chances are she won’t be doing it in an earnest manner. She never has before, so she won’t start now.
