14 DAY TRIAL // In September this year, Dina Eastwood filed the papers for a legal separation from her husband of 17 years, actor and director Clint Eastwood. Only two days later, she had already changed her mind and filed papers again, this time to have the first round dismissed.
The first filing came on September 9, the second on September 11. Despite the latter, Clint and Dina had been living apart for over a year and her changing her mind will probably not alter this situation, Us Weekly speculates.
It also notes that the two remained “amicable” after breaking up, with an insider saying that he just “fell out of love with Dina a long time ago.”
“The former newscaster, 48, filed papers for a separation in Monterey County Superior Court on Sept. 9. In the document, she sought spousal support and physical custody of Morgan – though they would share legal custody,” Us Weekly writes.
“The notes also revealed that the couple would divide community and separate property as laid out in their ‘premarital agreement’,” the report further says.
If they have a prenup, that means that Dina didn’t have the separation dismissed because Clint somehow talked her into it, to avoid the situation in which he’d have to share his money with her in case of a divorce.
Perhaps even weirder is the fact that Clint has already been photographed with a new girlfriend, the report goes on to mention. Dina too is moving on with her life.
Clint is now dating Erica Tomlinson-Fisher, who just happens to have been married to one of Dina’s good friends, University of Hawaii basketball coach Scott Fisher.
To make this even more like an episode of “The Young and the Restless” (no offense to the show), Dina is now said to be dating Scott, after they first started seeing each other more often to complain over Clint and Erica’s affair.
