Namco Bandai has confirmed that the recently revealed digital download version of Demon's Souls will be released onto the PAL PlayStation Store on January 23, a few weeks after the North American launch, which takes place on January 8.

Demon's Souls was originally released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 back in 2009 and it quickly impressed gamers through its extremely challenging gameplay.

Now, after confirming that a digital download version of the game will be released for the PS3 through the PlayStation Store in North America on January 8, Namco Bandai has revealed that the downloadable edition of the RPG hits the PS Store in the PAL region (Europe, Australia, New Zealand, etc) on January 23.

No word yet if a Pure White Tendency Event will accompany the release, like in North America, but you can expect more details to appear soon enough, according to Joystiq.
