Digital Storm is the most recent PC maker to announce that it is working on a Steam machine, which it plans to show off for the first time during the coming Consumer Electronics Show that will take place in Las Vegas in early 2014.

The device is still being tweaked, but it is set to support both the SteamOS created by Valve and Windows, says Destructoid.

The company wants to put together a variety of configurations that will include liquid cooling and will allow users to select the components that they believe are suited to their gaming needs.

The price of the Digital Storm Steam machine will be close to 1,500 dollars (1,050 Euro), which makes it much more expensive than the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

The first prototype devices that will use the SteamOS are set to be delivered to testers on December 13 and more users should get access to them in 2014.
