As the avalanche of gaming notebook bundling the newest NVIDIA GPU architecture continues to spread, device marker Digital Storm has also rolled out four new gaming laptops.

Two of them sport 15.6-inch screens and have been baptized Javelin and Lance, while the other two have more spacious screens of 17.3-inch and are called Krypton and Behemoth.

The four laptops were launched in various sizes and configurations to suit the needs of any PC gamer out there, who hasn't jumped onboard with Eurocom, MSI or other gaming gear manufacturing giant.

As we mentioned above, all the four Digital Storm models have been equipped with the new NVIDIA GTX 800M series of graphics cards.

You might be aware the new GPUs take advantage of a host of new high-end advanced technologies including Battery Boost (maximizes battery life cycle while gaming) and ShadowPlay (allows users to recording their gameplaying adventures and stream it further beyond).

Digital Storm Director of Product Development, Rajeev Kuruppu introduced the four new gaming laptops.

“We've wanted to refresh our notebook line for a while and the NVIDIA GTX 800M series launch provided the perfect timing.”

“The cards’ ability to deliver gaming performance comparable to a desktop system allow our notebooks to dominate anywhere.”

Those are pretty bold claims especially since companies like ASUS and Razer have recently put out pretty amazing mobile gaming gear that not only looks amazing but provides the necessary horse power from any game to be played on it.

Now let’s take a quick tour and see what the Digital Storm laptops have to offer. Starting at $1,196 / €872 the custom build Javelin has a 1080p display and is said to be able to deliver apt performance so gamers can experience every detail of the battlefield. However, we’re not given any info on processor and such.

Moving on to the Lance, this laptop embeds a cooling system that compartmentalizes critical hardware in order to keep the laptop cool even if you’re pulling an all-nighter with the laptop.

The Lance has Sound Blaster X-Fi MB3 platform and two precision balanced Onkyo speaker combined with a built-in subwoofer.

Customers can choose their preferred graphics cards, processors and memory when it comes to the Krypton. The laptop also has room for up to three storage drives.

Last but not least, the Behemoth has dual SLI GTX 880M graphics cards, which is the high end offering of NVIDIA’s new portfolio.

Digital Storm also has a neat little contest going on and will be offering the Kyrpton ($1,478 / €1,078) to celebrate the launch of the two new notebooks.

Contestants have to upload a picture of an old, decrepit laptop and hope Digital Storm will select it as the worst laptop to have graced the face of the earth.
