The popularity of digital photo frames has literally skyrocketed over the past couple of years and for this reason we shouldn't really be surprised by the huge number of such products that arrived on the market during this period of time. Moreover, pretty much each new model is touted by its manufacturers to be "the world's...something", and that's also the case with the latest product from Digital Foci, the "Image Moments 6", which, despite featuring a relatively small screen size (just 6 inches in diagonal), is presented as "the highest pixel density digital photo frame on the market."

Of course, this is mostly marketing talk, but the truth of the matter is that the device's 5.7-inch LCD has a density of 140 PPI (pixels per inch), which, according to Digital Foci, allows users to enjoy their photos in crisp and clear colors. Unfortunately, though, the resolution is far from fantastic, since we're only dealing with 640 x 480 pixels, as well as a 300:1 contrast ratio and a LED backlight system.

However, things seem to get a lot better in terms of usability. The digital frame's OS allows users to play photos, video, and music files (yes, it also sports a couple of built-in speakers) from multiple memory sources at the same time, as well as organize each type of media into separate categories and create playlists or slideshows.

Since we've mentioned earlier the multiple sources, it's interesting to mention that the digital photo frame sports built-in memory card slots for CompactFlash, SD/HC card, MMC, Memory Stick, MS PRO, xD-Picture Card, and even MS Duo/MS PRO Duo, without the need for an adapter. Quite obviously, it also comes packed with a USB 2.0 interface, which can be used for transferring photos from a host computer or flash drive directly into the frame's internal memory (around 450 MB of available storage space).

The frame from Digital Foci has yet another major thing going for it, namely its price tag, of just around 150 US dollars, which is quite affordable, compared to many other products on the market.
