Back in 2001, Digital Eel, a company created by a trio of the game industry veterans, have unveiled their first game, Plasmaworm. After seven years of delight for the fans of easy
and fun games, the company decided to offer the game, together with other two classic titles, for free. Three fun games for free - that's a great way to start the day (and since the weekend is getting closer, it's even better).

The first title, Plasmaworm, is one you definitely already know: you control a worm through twenty increasingly difficult levels and, as he eats eidolons, he gets bigger and bigger, thus harder to be kept alive. Don't worry though, no matter if you win or loose, it will definitely be a great experience that will keep you addicted for quite a while. Also, unlike other snake-like games, Plasmaworm features shooter elements in some levels, as well as an end boss! In order to turn it into the ultimate snake game, the developers have also incorporated a level editor for you to use and create your own worlds.

The second game offered for free by Digital Eel is called Big Box of Blox and it can best be summed up as Tetris on acid and, with game modes such as Flaming Peelout, Blok Atak, Groink, Mushroom King and Asylum Cubez, it definitely brings a brand new tetris experience. The game features ten levels of difficulty, eight music tracks and promises to bring you countless hours of fun. For free, of course.

And for those who got tired of blowing away nazis, aliens and other monsters, Digital Eel offers a great alternative: Dr. Blob's Organism. The game won in 2004 IGF Prizes of Innovation in Audio and Innovation in Visual Art and it basically allows players to shoot one-celled organisms, in a similar way to the old arcade game Tempest. Using ten different power-ups over twenty levels, the last game offered for free by Digital Eel promises another set of countless, fun hours.

Everything you have to do now is to head to the official website, start the download and enjoy!
