A lot of changes in this major updates for a great image management software

digiKam, a digital photo management application for KDE and Linux that includes an image editor for image corrections and manipulations, is now at version 2.4.0.

The complete changelog is quite hefty and we won't go through all of it, instead we'll list some things that are worth mentioning.

Highlights of digiKam 2.4.0:

· Shortcut changes were not saved properly; · Color temperature for RAW images has been fixed; · digiKam was crashing while scanning >20000 pictures; · A plugin could not be used on large photographs; · An extra toolbar in the image editor; · Display RGB histograms in 3 separate diagrams; · Resize controls in editor were missing; · A crash during batch convert was fixed; · Minimal image editor window was bigger than 800px; · Problems in colors  between digiKam's theme and GNOME appearance have been fixed.
