Digg has released an updated iPhone/iPad client app with the promise to deliver the most interesting and talked about stories on the Internet in a format suitable for iOS 7.

Taking cues from Jony Ive’s flat iOS 7 design, Digg now has a more simplistic interface and fully supports the new mobile software. Furthermore, the updated Digg 5.2.1 includes Dynamic Type & Background App Refresh, as well as a number of performance enhancements and bug fixes.

Customers who have suggestions on how to improve the app are encouraged to sound the horn at [email protected] or to contact the development team on Twitter at @DiggSupport.

While the Digg iPhone/iPad app now fully supports iOS 7, there’s no reason to update your iPhone to still use the app. As long as you’re running any version after iOS 6.0, you’re good to go.
