Size 0 might look good on the catwalk but, in real life, female dieters are not thinking stick thin when working hard to shed excess weight. In fact, a new survey reveals, they’re thinking of getting a body as curvy and fit as Kelly Brook’s.

Conducted by One Poll for the New Atkins Diet, the survey attempted to determine what a woman deems a perfect body in best women and men, using celebrities who are also famous for their figures, the Daily Mail reports.

Thus, in women, number 1 is Kelly Brook, a former glamour girl turned actress and fashion designer who rose to international fame for her curves and, just as importantly, the pride she takes in them.

Kelly is not only incredibly beautiful and confident, but also very relatable, which explains why almost a quarter of voters said they would like to get a body like hers through dieting and working out.

Rihanna, who currently revealed she’d gotten to her thinnest yet because of intense touring and a very hectic lifestyle, was voted second, with 14 percent of the votes.

Jennifer Aniston, yet another female star famous for her incredible figure, landed the third spot in the poll, with 10 percent of all the votes.

Petite Cheryl Cole was fourth (8.05 percent), while Kim Kardashian rounded up the top five with 7.54 percent of the votes.

Notable is the fact that there is not a single celebrity who is a size 0 in the top 5, which, according to Linda O’Byrne, chief nutritionist for the New Atkins Diet, must mean that the size 0 trend is dying.

“It’s great that women in the UK are looking to celebrities with real curves for inspiration, as it provides an achievable weight loss goal,” O’Byrne says.

“The trend for size zero and extreme dieting was very unhealthy and worrying, so it is very reassuring to discover, thanks to our research, that women are beginning to adopt a healthier attitude to losing weight and using better role models,” she adds.

Speaking of role models, David Beckham was voted Mr. Body Perfect. George Clooney, Simon Cowell (the biggest surprise of the survey), Jason Statham and Orlando Bloom also received due praise for the (more or less) toned physiques.

“Kelly Brook has a fantastic figure, and now it seems that it is no longer just men that appreciate it. It is also very easy to understand why so many women voted David Beckham the perfect body, he has it all,” O’Byrne says.

“And while Simon Cowell has a certain charisma, it was something of a surprise to discover just how popular he is with women under 35,” she adds.
