AnnaLynne McCord is just one of the many gorgeous female stars to have emerged in the spotlight in recent months, yet she’s perhaps the most memorable, not only for her talent, but also for her killer looks. For those not in the know, AnnaLynne is tall, slender and incredibly fit – and it’s not because she starves herself or anything, she reveals in the latest issue of Shape magazine.

According to the star, she’s very disciplined about her food, which makes it so that she never has to diet. That is to say, she tries to focus on eating healthily and splurging only once or twice (tops) each week. Her schedule is incredibly hectic, so this means she rarely has the time to eat her meals at regular hours or to cook, so she makes sure she always has breakfast. When she has some spare time, she cooks too, her favorite being citrus chicken, which is both very easy to make and very light on the calories.

“Because of her crazy-busy schedule – she’s on set at 6 a.m. most days and sometimes not in bed until 1 or 2 the next morning – breakfast is the only meal AnnaLynne eats at a normal time. Usually she has an egg sandwich or French toast – or both if she’s really hungry. She tends to graze the rest of the day, grabbing a turkey and ham sandwich for lunch, a handful of red and green pepper strips with ranch dressing or cereal bars for a snack, and vegetable soup plus fish or chicken for dinner,” Shape writes after sitting down for a chat with the star.

Given that she rarely eats unhealthy food, AnnaLynne was never forced to diet. Of course, the fact that she keeps very active also has something to do with it, she says with a smile. The “90210” star doesn’t have a gym subscription because she sees working out as the only chance she has to hang out with her friends and have some fun at the same time. That’s to say, instead of choosing to lock herself up in a gym for her daily workout, she goes on hikes, jogs or just long walks with her friends.

“With my unpredictable work hours, I rarely have time to exercise and have fun, so my idea of a good workout is to mix them both. I love being outdoors, playing beach tennis, going for runs in the sand, or doing a three-hour hike with my best girlfriend, Mieko. Yeah, we go to Runyon Canyon or some other hiking trail and just walk and talk for hours. It’s our one-on-one time. […] When I first moved to L.A., I didn’t have a lot of money to join a gym or take classes, so I improvised,” the stunning actress further explains.

Yes but unlike AnnaLynne, WE don't really have hectic schedules, which gives us plenty of time binge! Here are a few tips to help you control your diet:

1) Just wait before you go to that fridge, are you hungry? are you REALLY hungry? Or are you just bored? yeah- same thing happens to me to!- Remind yourself, it's just food! You can live without it for now, so just gently walk away, and get distracted before it happens again!

2) Drink water before you eat anything- are you hungry or thirsty? Hmm....

3) Stop shopping for junk food- if you don't have it in your house, then you can't eat it!

4) Don't eat anything except water after 7.00pm, if you continue this for a year, that will mean you have fasted for 1/2 a year!

5) Compare yourself to others slimmer than you, what do they eat? how much do they eat? Copy what they get, and you'll get results in NO time!- Great for a flatter stomach too!

this works- i'm 13, 5'1 and 8 stone, how do I looose weight? can you do a workout for me too??!

Hello everyone! Once again, thanks for the lovely comments! Unfortunetly, it seems my comments aren't uploading as fast as I would like them to, but do remember, I am still researching some diet tips and tricks, so I haven't forgotten about you all! Many of you have requested that I do a skincare and beauty tip article, if I receive lots of feedback from you all, I shall do, (just so I have a rough idea of the population that is my audience!). I also specialize in exercise and workouts that last about 10 minutes- yes, that's 10 minutes- with very effective results!

You thought that your life was difficult. I am 15 and nearly 13stone. I have joined the gym and it kind of worked, my family are struggling with money at the moment too :/ I cant seem to lose the weight ever, my mum buys junk food because she is slim so therefor buys it, i tell her i am trying to lose my weight and she just says bluntly that i have to stay away from the cupboard/fridge, doesn't work!! I have no idea on what to do here, i am seriously struggling, i have prom soon and i want to look my best in my dress!any help? Thank you! x

OK mollie dont fret,
this is a hard food plan to follow its brutal but dont do it for too long:

average day: lemon slighlty boiled water as soon as you wake up.
before breakfast do a 1o minute heart racing cardio, eg dance like a weirdo and jump around, THIS MUST BE BEFORE EATING then have tomatoes on toast with bitty orange juice or milk, the bitty orange juice will keep you fuller for longer as does the tomatoes. Drink the green tope milk as the red and blue one are bad (i know people tend to think red is the best but its not!) have green tea, its speeds up matbolism.

Try and do ten mins of heart pumping exercise before each main meal, say if you have three meals thatts thirty mins of exercise. have a 'dayy off' where you eat whatever you want and dont give it a thought but know that the next day is back again you can swap these days around but dDONT save them up as this gets you back into a bad routine.

Rules and tips:
1> no food after 7 pm
2> the earlier you eat in the morn the better speeds up matabolism
3> 2 -3 litres of only water a day
4> Do not call it a diet cll it 'a change fore th best' or a 'new plan'
5>in a week inc 10 mins before main meals7 hrs of exercise
6>go for apple around 50 cal or orange around 40
7> drink when you are hungary it may just be flid intake needed
8>pick up a hobby and do it when you are hungary keep busy or try to earn some money by working
