Taking place after the Die Hard series of films, players again take on terrorists as hard-luck cop John McClane. Reginald VelJohnson reprises his role as Sgt. Al Powell, and McClane's daughter, Lucy, is an L.A.P.D. officer in the game. Die Hard Vendetta contains an original story which begins 5 years after Die Hard with a Vengeance. John McClane's daughter; Lucy has recently joined the Police Academy. After a short time in the force she is kidnapped by none other than the son of Hans Gruber (the villain in the original Die Hard film).
