Just yesterday I was writing about how Diddy seems to have taken his role as a lady charmer a bit too seriously. Like all the hyped celebrities of the day, he got a perfume out which (in true Diddy spirit) is called "Unforgivable". No, it doesn't smell anything like Clint Eastwood, it's just an expression of this guy's really manly attitude to life and women in general.
He also stated something that goes like this: "I send out a challenge…I challenge all of my female counterparts that have fragrances…that my fragrance is better than theirs. I'm a man and I know how women should smell!" And since he's such a lady killer, he decided to prove his charm and dashing manners (which I'm sure sweep women off their feet in no time) by doing his thing and completely impressing a hostess at the GoldBar in NYC.
Diddy reportedly walked into the restaurant accompanied by four friends, and when the hostess in question asked him (as one would normally expect form a restaurant hostess) "how many in your party" his answer was intimate, straight and to the point. "Fucking bitch", he said. No, this is for real. Onlookers report he actually looked at the poor woman and addressed her in this sweet and gentle manner, probably leaving the lady stunned and overwhelmed with emotion.
I have a feeling that the emotion in question was probably disgust mixed with anger. But I realized what's going on - and if you think about it, you'll see that it makes perfect sense under the circumstances. I haven't seen a picture of the hostess in question, but I'm sure Diddy must have mistaken her for one of his rival female perfume promoters - and rightfully gave her a piece of his mind.
I mean, he's a man (albeit a delusional one), he knows how a woman should smell - he knows how to handle a lady. In fact, here's a better idea - he should try to treat every woman he meets like that. Yes, that should prove his point and show us all he's such an expert in women's issues he can afford to be disgusting and rude. I do wonder how long he is going to last after this before someone walks up to him and slaps him. That would make for a nice visual, wouldn't it?
