Dianara, a pump.io client, an application for GNU/Linux that will allow users to manage their pump.io social networking accounts without the need to use a web browser, is now at version 0.8.

Dianara 0.8 is not a stable release, as of yet, and it only incorporates a small number of features, such as authorization process, posting text, receiving newest 20 post from the timeline, and partial contact listing.

Highlights of Dianara 0.8:

• The option to select people in the "To/CC" fields when posting has been added; • The option to set "Public" posting as default has been added; • Better text formatting options have been implemented; • HTML formatting has been re-enabled when posting comments; • A profile editor has been added; • The Status bar can now be hidden.

A complete list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement.

Download Dianara 0.8 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
