Shiny bling-bling

In its most sparkly version, the iPhone seems to have it all: fame, fans, great looks and a huge price tag attached. We've seen it golden and even colored, although the diamond-engraved version of the handset looks like the one with most shinning features attached.

From the line of expensive high tech bling-blings, the iPhone now holds a top spot with its diamond version. The handset has been listed by Crave and follows the same trend that went on with iPods. After turning these Apple products gold, it was due time to move on to some heavy and expensive materials.

Diamonds usually end up looking cheap on gadgets, especially when in large amounts. It is not necessarily the case with this new iPhone version, although many people might like the original one better. Still, the number of different fashion tastes is great and there should appear some customers for this device as soon as it hits the market.

The phone will have a total of 420 diamonds, totaling 5.65 carats in 18k white or yellow gold. All stones will be disposed on the silvery line that regular iPhones used to have on their border line. Customization will be the main feature about it, as the user can choose between white, black and pink sapphires. After all, such a device is all about making a personality statement and that's exactly what the customers expects after paying a huge amount of money for it.

The diamond-engraved iPhone should be released next month for the price of USD 41,225. The device will not come from an official carrier, which gives reasons to believe that it could very well be an unlocked version. Hopefully, the next Apple upgrade will not harm it, otherwise it will instantly turn into a diamond-engraved brick.
