SPAMfighter has released version 5.1.0.6 of SPAMfighter Exchange Module, a solution that enables organizations to protect their Microsoft Exchange Servers against spam. The latest release comes with two new features, both of which are made available for free to both new and existing customers.

The first new addition is a feature that allows users to add signatures or disclaimers to the emails they send out.

Disclaimers have become very important for many companies. However, it can be a real hassle to manage them, particularly if there are numerous departments and each one needs a different signature.

SPAMfighter Exchange Module 5.1.0.6 can be utilized to set different disclaimers for each department. Each user group can have its own HTML disclaimer with links, logos and unique content.

It’s worth noting that emails sent through the Exchange Server from mobile devices are also supported.

The second feature incorporated into the latest SPAMfighter Exchange Module is a diagnostics tool that informs users if the Exchange Server is not properly patched with the latest Exchange server updates.

This feature can be really useful, particularly in a time when many successful cyberattacks exploit unpatched software.

“The market for anti-spam and anti-virus for companies has taken a turn in recent years. Now it is not all just about fighting spam and malware but general content filtering and e-mail compliance,” SPAMfighter’s Kim Falkner has told Softpedia.

“We've been listening to our current user base and taken a big step towards meeting these new demands. The new features we have introduced helps overall Exchange Server security and will allow new users or current users of our software to setup rules for e-mail policies and disclaimers.”
