Blizzard is announcing that its action role-playing title Diablo III has a new game director, Josh Mosqueira, who will handle all future development on the game both on the PC and on the PlayStation brand of consoles.

The new leader of the Diablo III team is offering details on his background in an official post on Battle.net.

His previous work experience includes a number of high-profile titles like: Homeworld, Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and FarCry.

Josh Mosqueira says, "While the game's dark, gothic setting hooked me, it was the intense, fast-paced action gameplay and the thrill of finding awesome loot that kept me coming back for years after."

Diablo III was launched more than one year ago and Blizzard is still delivering updates that balance the game mechanics.

The game will have versions for the PlayStation 4 and 3 in the fall.
