14 DAY TRIAL // Blizzard is getting ready to debut Diablo III next month and, besides releasing plenty of videos and details about the game, the studio has now revealed the array of midnight launch events that will be held throughout the world for the game.
Diablo III has been awaited for quite some time, with millions of fans counting down the days before the May 15 release of the role-playing dungeon crawler.
We’ve heard plenty of details about the game, we've seen many videos about its different classes, and we even tried it out as part of a special Diablo III open beta stage that was held a few weeks ago.
Now, Blizzard is entering the home stretch ahead of the game’s launch, so it has revealed the array of midnight release events that will be held for Diablo III all over the world.
“Be part of this clash of Worldstone-shattering proportions by attending the special launch events hosted by retailers around the world. Diablo III will go on sale at midnight on May 14/15, so be among the first to get your hands on the Collector’s Edition! Blizzard Entertainment developers will be present to meet players and sign copies of the game during the events in several locations throughout the world,” the company said.
The biggest event will be held right in Irvine, California, where Blizzard’s headquarters are located. Those who want to get in touch with developers should visit the GameStop magazine from the small city.
“Gamers in attendance will enjoy an epic evening of entertainment before Diablo III goes on sale at midnight, including a variety of giveaways; an exciting selection of Diablo-related video footage; and multiple contests with exclusive Diablo III-themed prizes, such as laser-etched desktop PCs from Intel. In addition, members of the Diablo III development team will be on site at each of the official events to meet with players and sign their copies of the game.”
Other midnight events will be held in Europe, in capital cities like London, Berlin, Moscow, Paris, Stockholm, or Warsaw.
Diablo III will also be released during midnight launches in Asian cities like Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok or Seoul.
