Diablo 3 has just been released and already players have uncovered one of the game’s biggest surprises, a secret level called Whimsyshire, which boasts cartoon visuals and rich graphics that sharply contrast the regular tone of the hack and slash game.

Diablo II impressed many players with its infamous secret cow level, which tasked them with defeating legions of undead cows in an alternate plane of existence.

Now, with Diablo III, the development team at Blizzard has added a new secret level, which tasks players with entering the colorful land of Whimsyshire and make them battle against all sorts of cuddly enemies, from unicorns, to teddy bears and other such things.

This surprise is aimed at fans that criticized Diablo III before its launch for being too colorful, as opposed to previous games in the series.

While the cow level in Diablo II was relatively easy to find, Whimsyshire in Diablo III is a bit hard to discover.

Thankfully, a Blizzard forum member compiled a list of things you need to do in order to visit this mystical land, so check it out below.

Step 1 (Get all these items) - A "Black Mushroom" which spawns in cathedral level 1 from Act 1 - A "Shinbone" which is located randomly in the fireplace in Leoric’s Manor Act 1. - "Liquid Rainbow" is located in a mysterious cave in a mysterious chest in the Oasis in Act 2. To get into the mysterious cave you have to find a monger who didn’t spawn in every game but the spawn point is always the same - A "Wirt’s Bell" which is sold from the little girl (a monger) in the city on Act 2. (100,000 gold) - "Gibbering Gemstone" drops from a Chiltara in a random mob in the caverns of frost Act 3(A little hint: This is the area where you destroy the ballistae.) - "The plans" drop randomly from Izual on Act 4.

Step 2 (Build the staff) If you got all these items, you have to build the staff. (50,000 gold)

Step 3 (Simply walk to the pony level) You have to walk from New Tristram to the street to Old Tristram. You will find a red glowing slit with a dead cow in front of it. The rest is self-explanatory. You can check out a video that shows how to build the staff and how to play through the Whimsyshire level.
