Diablo 3 for the Xbox One has just been listed by two separate retailers, seemingly confirming that the dungeon crawling RPG is finally going to be launched on Microsoft's new console.

Diablo 3 first appeared back in 2012 for PC and Mac and last year it came out for the PS3 and Xbox 360 current-gen consoles.

For this year, Blizzard is going to debut the Reaper of Souls expansion on PC and Mac and the Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition on PS4.

According to retailers Best Buy and Future Shop, via IGN, the game is also going to be launched on the Xbox One, at least judging by their listings.

Blizzard has come forward and revealed that "One of our goals is to bring Diablo III to as many players as possible, but we don’t have any other platform announcements to share at this time."

As such, it's quite possible that Diablo 3 will debut for the Xbox One alongside the PS4 version later this year.
