Blizzard is set to bring a playable demo of Diablo 3 on the PlayStation 3 at PAX East this weekend and the studio has confirmed that this early version of the role-playing dungeon crawler will include a redesigned interface and inventory. What's more, it also posted three new screenshots with the game.

Diablo 3 came out almost a year ago on the PC and Mac platforms and now Blizzard is getting ready to release it for the PlayStation 3 but also the next-generation PlayStation4 .

The first public showing of the game running on the PS3 will happen at PAX East this weekend, according to Blizzard, as a playable demo will be available to attendants of the Boston conference.

Besides trying out the game on the PS3, players will also be able to interact with the redesigned interface as well as the inventory system that's been built specifically for the console controller.

The Demon Hunter and Barbarian classes can be tried out in the demo and they'll go through the second act of the campaign.

Until PAX East's start tomorrow, March 22, check out the new screenshots below.
