Blizzard has confirmed that in the near future it's going to debut a new Public Test Realm for the upcoming Diablo 3 patch 2.1.0, so that players can share their thoughts on and find bugs within the next major update for the game.

Diablo 3 received the massive patch 2.0.1 back in March and, after the release of the Reaper of Souls expansion, developer Blizzard rolled out a few more, smaller updates designed to solve immediate bugs, exploits, or bring urgent improvements to classes like the Crusader.

However, the studio has pledged that, with the future patch 2.1.0, it's going to add quite a lot of great content to the game, not to mention changes to all the classes as well as their Legendary gear or sets.

Now, while talking about the changes for the monk class, one of Blizzard's community managers has revealed on Battle.net that a special Public Test Realm for Diablo 3 patch 2.1.0 will be made available at a certain point in time.

At first, some of the changes planned by the studio will be available in this test server and, as time goes by, the full build of the update will go live, allowing players to preview some of the changes and find bugs that can be easily reported to Blizzard, so that the public release isn't affected by any game-breaking errors.

Unfortunately, the studio doesn't have an estimate release for the update or its PTR debut.
