14 DAY TRIAL // Video game developer Blizzard announces that the 2.1.2 patch for Diablo 3 is now launched on both the PC and home consoles in North America, with gamers set to be prompted to download it as soon as they log into their Battle.net account.
The new update for the game is a major one and introduces a range of big changes for all versions of the game.
The PC change log for patch 2.1.2 is the biggest of the bunch and gamers can take a look at it by clicking on the button at the end of this article, with plenty of details offered by the developers on the way the game will change from now on.

The announcement from Blizzard also states that the company does not yet have clear launch dates for the new patch in Europe and in Asia.
It adds, "If you are logging in from a European or Asian client, you will need to wait for this patch to release in that region before it can be installed. Additionally, if your home region is in the Americas, you will be unable to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play after patch 2.1.2 is live until those regions have also patched."

When Blizzard first introduced Diablo 3, many members of the community were unhappy with the experience that they were offered and with many design choices.
Since then the studio has listened to their feedback and has cut out entire features in order to replace them with more interesting ones.
The launch of the Reaper of Souls expansion marked a renaissance for the title and its fortunes were further boosted by the delivery of the versions for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4.
