Blizzard is tweaking the difficulty of the game

The developers in charge of Diablo 3 at Blizzard are announcing that they are deploying the first hotfixes for the recently launched patch 2.1.2 at the moment and they already have a number of other changes in the pipeline, set to be delivered to the player base in the coming days.

The official announcement on the forums explains that "These hotfixes should not require you to download a new patch. Some of the hotfixes below will go live the moment they are implemented while others may require restarting the game to go into effect. Please keep in mind that some issues cannot be addressed without a client-side patch. Also note that changes to certain abilities will not be reflected in its tooltip until a patch is issued."

Blizzard says that it has fixed the achievements so far, which means that all players should now be able to get "You're not the Boss of Me," which was inaccessible for those who took out all the bosses except for Lord of Bells before patch 2.1.2 was deployed.

The developers are also saying that they will soon deploy a hotfix which deals with the Rift mechanic, designed to significantly increase the damage of the Conduit Pylon in both Nephalem and Greater Rifts.

Blizzard adds, "These changes should result in Conduit feeling more in line with strong pylons like Power and Channeling without trivializing Rift Guardians."

Constant support is one of the key ingredients of Diablo 3

Patch 2.1.2 was a massive update for the action RPG, and despite extensive testing by the players, it has not always had the intended result, which means that hotfixes are required to make the game better as Season 2 is getting ready to launch.

Blizzard is more than happy to offer constant support for Diablo 3 because it has the effect of keeping fans engaged in the long term.

Since Reaper of Souls was launched and the game was offered on current-gen consoles, it has managed to attract new gamers and veterans alike, who are satisfied with the mechanics changes the team has introduced and are playing the new modes in high numbers.
