Blizzard has confirmed that it's aware of quite a few major issues that have popped up ever since patch 2.0.5 for Diablo 3 rolled out onto the North American servers and that it's working on solutions for all of them.

Diablo 3 received a major update yesterday, in the form of patch 2.0.5, which brought forth a huge array of improvements to the dungeon crawling role-playing game, not to mention a big amount of changes to practically all the character classes, chief among which being the Crusader, which got lots of buffs to his abilities.

Unfortunately, after the patch went live in the North American region of the game's servers, players quickly spotted quite a lot of different bugs and errors, some of which resulted in game crashes.

Blizzard has since acknowledged several of them, starting with a problem that causes the game to crash when players enter Nephalem Rifts, thereby losing their keystones and progress.

A workaround has been devised by the developer, which should at least reduce the frequency of Rift crashes, so check it out below.

"We currently have an issue that may cause some players to crash when entering a Nephalem Rift or changing areas. We are currently working on a potential fix for this, but in the meantime we have a workaround that may help," the studio said on its website.

"Open your Options menu (press esc). Locate the Speaker Setup menu under Sound options. Select 'Stereo' in the dropdown and hit Accept."

What’s more, it's also posted on the official forums a list of other known issues, including problems with the No Reinforcements achievement during the story campaign, as well as with the Mystic enchantment.

"It is currently extremely difficult to destroy the Demon Gates before Demon Troopers spawn during the Azmodan Encounter, which is preventing completion of the 'No Reinforcements' achievement."

"Crafted legendary set items can currently draw from a list of incorrect and non-class-specific affixes when being enchanted at the Mystic."

A few other issues have also been confirmed. One resets the Monkey King's 4-piece set bonus if you manipulate the inventory, while another prevents Torment-only class-specific sets from having their looks reverted to their original appearance once they've been transmogrified.

Unfortunately, Blizzard hasn't offered an estimate for when solutions for these problems will appear, so currently you might want to not open any rifts or enchant items with the Mystic.
