A variety of game pets are now better able to survive in the title

The development team at Blizzard has announced that the 2.0.4 patch for Diablo 3 is now launched in America and a full list of patch notes is available for all gamers, although a date for the European launch has not been yet confirmed.

The main changes made to the game are, according to the official announcement from the studio:

- Greatly increased the survivability of pets summoned by several items and skills, including: Skycutter, Maximus, The Gidbinn, Genzaniku, Litany of the Undaunted, Call of the Ancients and Falling Sword - Rise Brothers. - All Town hubs have had the placement of the Nephalem Rift Obelisk, Orek, and Kadala adjusted to help reduce the chance of accidental clicking - The Blacksmith's Belongings box in Act I no longer has collision

There are plenty of other changes, linked to classes, quests and core gameplay mechanics, all of them designed specifically to make sure that the overall players experience in Diablo 3 is improved.

The development team at Blizzard has said that it is carefully considering all the info that fans are posting after the launch of the Reaper of Souls expansion and that it might make other changes in the near future.

European players will probably get the 2.0.4 patch tomorrow.
