Blizzard aims to make sure that gamers have the best experience possible

The development team at Blizzard announces that a new patch for Diablo 3, labeled 2.0.3, is at the moment launched in North America and will soon also be offered for gamers in Europe and Asia, although an official ETA is not available.

The official announcement explains that the biggest changes introduced are:

GENERAL The area of effect for the Fire Trenches in the Halls of Agony now better match their animations There is now a short delay before Fire Trench damage is dealt Followers Enchantress Bug Fix: Fixed an issue where Erosion was causing Electrified to proc too frequently

There are also more tweaks made to the way some bosses work, the active skill section of the Wizard class, the crafting system and the way some items work.

Blizzard is also encouraging all players who are experiencing issues with the patching process for Diablo 3 to post on the official forums.

The community should also continue to offer official feedback on the core game mechanics as the studio is working to deliver more balance fixes in the future.

On March 25, Diablo 3 will receive the new Reaper of Souls expansion on the PC and Mac, designed to add new areas to explore, more enemies to battle and a Crusader class to play as.
