The development team at Blizzard might have already launched the 2.0.2 patch for Diablo 3, but the company is still trying to make sure that the entire player community is capable of understanding all the changes that were introduced in the much bigger 2.0.1 update.

Community manager Lylirra stars in an extensive video that explains how the experience of playing the action RPG has changed and reveals some of the main elements of the newly introduced mechanics.

Patch 2.0.1 is designed to prepare Diablo 3 for the launch of the Reaper of Souls expansion, which is currently set to arrive on March 25.

Gamers can now experience a new version of the Paragon system, which gives them more options when it comes to the development of their characters, and the loot model has been fundamentally modified in order to give players more useful gear.

Blizzard is also currently offering a 50 percent experience boost for all those playing on the PC in order to help them prepare for their coming battles.

Reaper of Souls is designed to introduce an entirely new class, the Crusader, while also delivering varied enemies and a range of areas to explore as they battle Death itself.
