Pay real money for in-game commodities like gems or crafting materials

Blizzard has just released the latest patch for Diablo 3, in the form of update 1.0.3b, which solves a few bugs and adds the option of buying commodities like gems, dyes, and more on the Real-Money Auction House.

Diablo 3 came out two months ago and Blizzard has kept on improving the experience by releasing new patches and updates in order to solve bugs and balance things out.

The latest update has just arrived, in the form of patch 1.0.3b, which may not solve that many bugs, but which finally adds the ability to buy commodities on the Real-Money Auction House.

The feature will soon be released on the regular Auction House, which uses in-game gold, but, until then, players can now pay for things like gems, dyes or crafting materials with real-life cash.

Auction House General The following commodities are now available for trading in the real-money auction house (gold commodity trading is coming soon): Gems Dyes Crafting materials Blacksmithing Plans and Jeweler Designs Pages of Training

Bug Fixes

The "Bid" and "Buyout" buttons will now be correctly grayed-out in the confirmation window when attempting to purchase an item with insufficient gold

Expect Blizzard to continue releasing updates for the game, including big ones like the long awaited 1.1, which should add the Player-versus-Player Arena mode.
